Bachelor of Tourism and Hotel Management

General description:

The Bachelor of Tourism and Hotel Management programme imbues the student with the techniques of hotel management including a good commercial and tourism culture.

Training objectives:

The programme has been designed to train tourism professionals capable of managing hotel and tourism operations.

Opportunities:

Management positions in hotels, tour operators, communication or consulting firms, and tourist sites.

Internship:

The internship included in the programme gives practical experience and the opportunity to apply in real working environment knowledge acquired in the classroom.

 

Learning outcomes:

  1. Manage different types of tourism, hotel and restaurants operations;
     

  2. Analyse and suggest improvements in tourism sites;
     

  3. Understand the importance of infrastructures and be able to suggest incoming structures in transport and lodging;
     

  4. Organise events such as festivals, exhibitions, and other types of festive occasions.
