MBA Option Entrepreneurship

General description:

This programme will provide the student with concepts, methods and the most recent tools to succeed as an entrepreneur.

This is a hands-on course with a practical approach to assist you in starting your own business.

Training objectives:

At the end of the programme, the students will have mastered the concepts covered; they will be capable of meeting the challenges of successfully starting a new business.


Societal evolution, new technologies and large economic shifts, all create new opportunities that can used to advantage to establish successful new corporations. Entrepreneurs can establish their own companies or develop new opportunities in large, entrepreneurial firms.

Learning outcomes:

  • Students will be able to elaborate an original business concept and undertake research to prove its originality and the viability of this concept. Differences must be made between the originality of the product and its need by the consumer.

  • Students should be in a position to produce a business plan, including a budget, that could lead to obtaining financing from private investors or financial institutions.

  • Students will be able to define the best legal structure for their start-up and be familiar with the legal and capital requirements suitable both at the start of their activity.

  • Students should be knowledgeable in the concept of disruptive innovation and be in a position to suggest adequate business models to compete with established corporations.

  • Students should be able to conceive the launch of a new product or service, including the budget, and plan the management of the marketing effort during the launch and growth phases of the product cycle.
